The January meeting of the
Elimville Mission Band was held
on Saturday afternoon at the
home of Misses Margaret and
Elaine Johns.
Miss Joanne Miners and Mari-
lyn Johns had charge of the
program, Roll call was ans-
wered by paying fees. Mrs. El-
son Lynn gave the story from
the study book. Miss Janet
Skinner and Margaret Johns
gave readings. Miss Sandra Wal-
ters favoured with a piano :n-
strumental. Larry Lynn read
the Scripture lesson.

Mrs, Macdonald's parents, Mr.

week to take up residence in Vic-
toria, B.C., where Mr. Macdon-
ald is stationed in the armed
servites. Another daughter, Mrs.
Fred Harrison, and little daugh-
ter, of Traverse City, Mich.,

Grigg.

Legion Ladies Auxiliary motored
to London on Tuesday to view
the rerriains of their late Com-
rade M. Hunt.
Mr. Nelson Grigg has joined
the armed services and will be
stationed in London for the pres-
ent.
Little Nancy Johnson is quite
ill and also her sister, Neva,
Mr. Orville Wessman of Lon-
don has recently purchased the
Chateau Hotel, formerly owned
by Mrs. I. Eccleston and has
been making some extensive
alterations before opening for
business, He is at present oper-
ating the bowling 1leys, which
have been well patronized,
