Mrs. W J. Frost showed a
number of budgies and canaries
at the recent London Bird Show,
winning two firsts and three
seconds on her budgies and six
firsts, two seconds and one third
on her /canaries including the
best red factor canary and sec-
ond' best gloster.
Coursey School, Euchre •
The second euchre at the Cour-
sey Sphool was 'held "last Friday
evening with Mrs. George Hod-
gins and Mrs. Joe O'Neil as
hostesses.
First prize winners were Miss
Loreen Hodgins and Mr. Har-
old Coursey. Second prize win-
ners were Mrs. Guy Ryan and
Mr. Lawrence Hodgins and lone
hand prizes were won by Mrs.
Cecil Holmes and Mr. Tommy
Ryan. ,

Mr. Thompson, sop of .Mr. and
Mrs. Matthew Thompson, was
born in Manitoba. At the age of
six he moved to London with his
parents. In 1939 he enlisted in
the Royal Canadian Army Serv-
iec Corps, serving in England,
France and Holland.

1945, he signed up with the On-
tario Hydro, where ha worked
until. moving to London seven
months ago.

The film stressed three rules:
