A topic on Remembrance was
given by Mrs, Wesley Russell,
and the Study Book lesson was
given by Mrs. Gerald Carey,
Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Abbiss,
Georgetown, visited with the
Careys during the weekend.

Celebrate Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Elgie en-
tertained at their home Saturday
evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs,
Ray Pfaff of St. Catliarines, ,who
were celebrating their silver
wedding anniversary.
During the dinner Mr. and
Mrs. Ffaff were presented with
a hammered aluminum sandwich
plate and lazy Susan, Miss Alice
Pfaff, of Exeter, read the ad-
dress and Mr. Carter Holmes, of.
Stratford, made the presenta-
tion. The evening was spent
playing court whist.

Catharines, Hamilton, Burling-
ton, Hinon, Stratford and ,Exe-
ter.

meeting at Armstrong's Restau-
rant Thursday night,
Governor Hartley Watts and
district Kin education chairman,
•Brock Smith, both of Simtoe,
spoke briefly during the pro-
gram.
Entertainment was provided by
Bill Young, London.
Exeter president, Iry Arm-
strong, conducted the meeting.
Others taking part were Sheldon
Wein and George Rether, who
were ' sergeants -at -arms; Lloyd
'Ford, and Hensall, president,
Jack Drysdale.
At a former meeting, Deputy -
Governor Les Parker conducted
a unique initiation ceremony for
three new members 0 the
Exeter club Ross Dobson,
R.R. 1, Kirkton; Joe Gunn,
Crediton, and Ward Kraft,
Exeter. •
Dressed in wig and gown, the
deputy -governor presided over a
mock court in which the pros-
pective members were put on
trial.
