Family Reunites
After 40 Years
Donald E. MacKinnon Of Hen-,
pall, was pleasantly surprised by
a visit from his brother, Alex
MacKinnon of 'Milwaukee, 'Wis.,
and his sister, Mrs. T. E. Ste.
wart (Kathleen) of Winnipeg,
'Man., whom he had not seen in
32 Years. Mr. MacKinnon, who
was accompanied by Ms wit,
together with his sister, also
visited with their brothers, R.ay
MacKinnon of Tuckersinith, and
Jim MacKinnon of Guelph.
It is forty two years since the
MacKinnon family consisting of
eight boys and three girls were
all home together. Born in Mani-
toba they are all living in va-
rious parts of Canada and
While visiting bis brother in
' Guelph for a few days, his dog,
of which he and his wife think
considerable, strayed from jim's
;.; premises on the eve of their de-
parture for home, so they spent
one extra day trying to locate
him to no ,avail. On leaving in-
.!' structions to have his loss ad-
vertised they departed back to
the U.S.A.
• After exactly one week Brow -
turned up at Sas MacKin-
' non's place a little lighter in
Weight but otherwise none the
worse for his holiday. Upon re-
ceiving a wire of his return, Alex
• drove all the way back from Mil-
waukee to claim his dog,

The topic was given by Mrs.
William Brown, on "South
Eastern Asia." A collection was
taken for supplies for the Pen-
marven Home.
The December meeting will be
held on Dec. 1Q at the home Of
Mrs. Stewart Bell.
The hostess was assisted by
Mrs. A. MacGregor, Mrs. Peters
and Mrs, Roy Bell.
Seaforth Nuptials
For Moir-Racho
Rev, D. Glenn Campbell offi-
ciated at the wedding in First
Presbyterian Church, Seaforth,
Saturday, November 16, when
Blenche, daughter of Mr. and
James Racho, Egmondville, be-
came the bride of Gerald Moir,
son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Moir, Hensall.
The bride was lovely In a
waltz -length gown of Chantilly
lace -over duchess satin
fashioned with fitted bodice,
sabrina neckline and My point
sleeves. The full bouffant skirt
of nylon chiffon was dotted with
opalescent sequins. A crown of
rhinestones and sequins held her
fingertip silk illusion veil. She
carried a bouquet of red roses
and baby chrysanthemums.
Mrs. Don Eston„sister of the
bride, was her attendant wear-
ing a waltz -length gown of pow-
der blue chiffon and net over
taffeta, with white feather head-
dress and carried a bouquet of
pink chrysanthemums.
Bruce Moir, of Bewail, was
bis brother's groomsman,

Plans were finalized for the
bazaar, bake sale and 'tea, to be
held in the United Church school-
room Saturday, November 30.
Mission band and baby band
will have a candybooth. A coin-
mittee was appointed 'toserve
afternoon tea. $10 was voted tO
the McKinnon House in London.
Mrs. A. Taylor jr. presided
and Mrs. Kinsman was pianist
for both meetings.

been established at Hensel/ to
Protect children walking to and
from the new f Ong school.
Patrols began operation last
week after receiving instructions
from Carl Laybourn, repeseuta-
tive of the Ontario Safety
League. Twenty gradeseven
and eight students comprise The
patrols which are under the
direction of Principal Robert
Reaburn,
IensaU Kinsmen Club bas
donated special belts and rain-
ceats for the Program,
Patrol members supervise
crossings. at four corners four
times a day.
