Turkey Dinner
The Ladies' Guild of Holy
Trinity Church was unfortunate
in its choice, of night for the
annual turkey dinner. Howevee
in spite of a wet, nasty night
and the number pf people in the
community still confined to their
homes with the flu, there was
a good turn -out.
With extra cooking facilities,
there was no "black 'out" this
year. The committee in charge,
innovated a number of labor-
saving devices which made ac-
tivities in the back -ground run
much more efficiently. The new
cake and pie shelves proved a
big asset.
Among the long tables of
diners were many former mem-
bers from London, Exeter, Ailsa
Craig and Saintsbury,
