The Elimville Mission Band
held their October meeting in
the forrn af a a owe'en mas-
querade. Due to sickness the
members were not ail present
but there were enough fat all
classes.
Judges were Misses Carol and
Dianne Johns and Miss Verde
Kellett. A film. "Christopher
Meese" was much enjoyed bY
the children and genies ware
'played and a sing song followed.
Winners in costumes were:
best disgqise, Larry Skinner. as
Marilyn Munroe; best dressed
couple, Janet and' Sandra Skin-
ner as a couple; best ballowe'en
girl, Elaine and Janice Johns as
witches; boy, George Belber as.
a Chinaman; orange -black fancy,
Brenda Skinner as a majorette;
best Indian, Dale Skinner; ani-
mal, Carol Ann Bell as "Little
Pig."

Exeter, celebrated their fortieth
edding anniversary 'last Thurs-
day when they were entertained
by their immediate family to a
turkey .diner at the Dominion
.Zunch.
After the dinner the party
motored to the home of Mr. and
Mrs, Hugh Hendrick, Kippen, to
be surprised by about 40 rela-
tives who had .met to celebrate
with them. •
The family presented the cele-
brating couple with an upholster-
ed platform rocker, They re-
ceived many other gifts.

Visit Deaf Institute
Thirty-nine ladies from Zion
Lutheran Church and Dash -wood
went by bus to the Lutheran Deaf
Institute at Detroit last Wednes-
day. They toured the school and
had dinner. They were shown the
methods of teaching. They also
visited other Lutheran Churches.
Next Sunday evening the film
"The Unfinished Task" will be
shown in Zion, Lutheran Church
at 8 p.m. .
