Mrs. Maynard was .introduced
by Mrs. Freeman Morlocit as A
former resident of Crediton when
her late husband, Gordon, May-
nard, was manager of the Bank
of ommerce, Mrs. ,Maynard
said -that it was while living at
Crediton - that she became inter-
ested in the work of the Institute.
She is now secretary -treasurer
of the Federated Women's. Insti-
tutes of Ontario,

Presbyterial of the Woman's
Nissioniry Society convened in
Hensall United Church Tuesday
in morning and afternoon ses-
sions, conducted by Vice-presi-
dent Mrs, W. Love, Grand
Bend.
Following, the morning worship
taken by Mrs. John, Sinclair and
Mrs, Russell Consitt, of the Kip -
pen auxiliary, brief reports were
given by each organization and
by the presbyterial secretaries.
All auxiliaries were represented
except Whalen. The objective of
organizing a baby band every
auxiliary has been reached in
South Huron.
Mrs. .1. Sutter, Clinton, presby-
terial treasurer, ,announced that
the allocation for 1958 would be
$24,950 — an increase of $300
over this year,
