Most impressive victories came
in the beef calf competitions

in which two Exeter club inern-
bers won champion and eserve
champion honors with their black
Angus calves. The two, Gerald
Wallis of R.R. 1 Granton and
Allan Rundle of rt.B., 3 Exeter,
placed secondand third for

for the fifth year in, succession,
first prize for the best group of
three calves in the county inter-
club competition. Wallis, Rundle

Huron County Holstein breeders
had ideal weather this year and
a good crowd of spectators when
30 enthusiastic exhibitors paraded
153 head to shatter all records
of Black and White Shows in Hu-
ron County at Blyth on Wednes-
day.
Ross Marshall, Kirkton, took
the premier breeder and premier
exhibitor awards with Thomas
Hayden and, Sonrunner-'up for
both these • honours, Marshall
showed the senior and grand
champion bull, 'while E. F. Bell,
Blyth, had the senior and grand
champion ; cow.
This is the tenth . year in a
row that the Kirkton breeder
has won the honors.. •
•Maishall's grand champion
bull, Rockwood Prince Rocket,
winner of the class for bulls
three ;years old and over was
made grand champion over the
junior champion lot% his sharp
ness of shoulder and depth of
capacity. The junior champion
who was made Reserve Grand
was Stonehouse Souvenir Star,
first, prize senior yearling shown
by. Peter Simpson, Seaforth.
The Reserve Senior champion
bull was the winning two-year-
old, Shore Recount, -shown by
