Ed- gar Roulston, minister of Lucan Clandebo'1e United Churches with the .guest soloist, Miss K. Egan ,o . Ir. Brownlee is a ..:on of the late Rev. W. F. Brownlee, twice rector of St James Church, He Spoke on the "wells of faith" of the pioneers , .A large crowd gathered in the 118 -year-old .cemetery and decor- ated the graves with floral trib- utes. Miss Helen Kestle is taking a course at Westervelt School in London. Mrs. J. Hall and daughter, Mary Jane Hall, went to Galt Monday. Miss Hall is on the teaching staff there. Temporary Bridge In Use Parts of the old bridge have been used to' build a temporary bridge over the Ausable river at Clandeboye to accommodate traffic until the new bridge can be built. Finley Former Teacher Mrs. Janes B. Finley, 84, died in Kincardine Friday, August 30. Sine lay at rest in the Link - later funeral home till 2 pall. Monday. Interment was in Kin- cardine .cemetery. Mrs Finley,. the termer Han- nah Dale (Annie), was the daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Daae and was born in St. Marys. She Lived for a number of years on Frances St, Lucan. Mr, Herbert Charlton nearly lost his barn last Wednesday when straw he was burning got out of control settingfire to two straw stacks beside the barn.
