Bailey and Mrs. Bailey, Lou
came to Exeter in 1951 when he
started selling cars. In 1954, he
was among the top salesmen for
the Ford -Monarch division. 'of
Ford h'lotor Co. of Canada in
Southwestern Ontario. Inc 1955, he
became manager of the Exeter
lot of a Zurich agency,,
Thirty years, 'ago,. Lou was
born in London where he attend-
ed public school and the Beal
Technical School, lie spent five
years in the painting business
in Seaforth before moving to
Exeter.
I -le is .married to the former
Marge Richards, daughttr of
Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Richards,
Stephen, and they have three
children ,-- Susan, seven; Rich-
ard, three.; and Marie, two, They
live in the brick home on Main
street formerly occupied by Lex
McDonald and W. R. Goulding.
The new Exeter car dealer is
/, 1 a member of Exeter Kinsmen
♦ I Club and is chairman .of its pro -
grain committee this year. In
Seaforth, he was a member of
1 the Lions club.
The office building, designed
and constructed by the owner,
contains two rooms and features
a sloping roof projecting over a
front of glass squares. It is paint-
ed in a rustic colour. A grass
terrace slopes to the gravel sur-
face of the lot.
