CFPL Radio will do its show,

Bea Festival Labor Day, two
acts have been booked to take
the place of the Hanson sisters
who are leaving for Los Vegas
to tour with Guy Lombardo and
his Royal Canadians. New num-
bers are Joey Hollingsworth,
dancer with the Billy O'Connor
show, Toronto, and Seppo Leivo,
outstanding juggler from Fin-
land.
Also appearing on the show
are Nancy McCaig, accordionist,
singer and dancer, featured in
clubs on both sides of the bor-
der; Cy Leonard and Happy,
comedian and ventriloquist; Betty
Feist, Canadian baton twirler
champion with flaming batons;
and the Paul Brothers and Shir-
ley of Kirkton.
Lee Paul will at as M.C. and
the Desjardine orchestra will
provide music for the dance, •

Among the SHIMS students
who this week have receiytd
word that they have passed their
Grade 13 examinations are three
from Hensall to whom this
year's work has special signific-
ance. Ted Norminton and the
Lavender twins, Tom and Bill,
have completed 1.3 years of suc-
cessful school. attendance 'to-
gether,
These three young men are
separated in age by only four
days and live within hailing dis.-
tanee of one another front their
back doors. ,They started their
educational careers on the same
da Y at Ilensall, graduated to-
gether to South Huron High,. -an
finished writing Grade 1,3 exam-
inations, on the same morning.
Throughout, they Took instruc-
tion in the same subjects, in the
same classrooms, fron the same
teachers, and all played on the
South Huron basketball and
football teams.
Tom Is the first member of
the trio to break the circle of
companionshin. He is Dresentiy.
in attendance at Waterloo Col-
lege beginning a co-operative
course in engineering. The other
two students plan to attend
Western University this fall
where they will take similar
courses.
