Brothers Unite 53 Y After Years ar After fifty-three years tw brothers, Fred C. Kennings, o Hensel]. and William J. Ken rt „ nines. of Hermiston, Oregon were reunited this month when the former visited in Oregon. The two brothers were born and raised in Hay Township on one of John Campbell's farms. Fred set his taproots on his. na- tive soil all his 76 years, while William migrated to Saskatche- wan to homestead and later to Oregon. William had not seen his brother, Fred, since he left Ontario in 1904. .A family reunion in his honor was held at Washington Park, Oregon. After the reunion be was the guest a Mr. and Mrs. Dan Richards in Vernanica, Ore. who helped fulfill his lifelong desire to see the Pacific Ocean William. Kennings, who was 78 in April this year, has not seen his sister, Mrs. Mary Gable of South River, Ontario for •61 years. Mr. Fred Kennings who re- turned to Hensall Thursday of this week travelled. over 6,000 miles an. the round trip by train, He was away a month. Personal Items $ Mr. and Mrs. N. E. A short program • was given consisting of a solo by Joan Sin- clair, contests conducted by Miss Dorothy Turner and Mrs, Ken- neth McKay and a solo by Mrs. Warren Thomson. Marion was asked by Miss Turner to come forward and was seated in a chair decorated in pink and white and wedding bells. The address was read by Miss Dor- othy Turner.
