Mission Band Picnic
The United Church Mission
Band picnic was held on the
church lawn with an attendance
of thirty. Doreen Kenny and Kath-
leen Buxton provided a good
line-up of sports after which,
lunch was served followed b'y' a
ball game.
Crediton Classy Lassys
The Crediton 4-H Club, the
"Classy Lassys" held its meet-
ing in the Crediton Community
Centre with 14 present. Eileen
Morrissey has replated. Sharon
Gaiser as secretary.
Topic. was taken by the lead-
ers' after which the girls drove
to King's farm for a thinning
and transplanting lesson.
The girls were then shown the
art of cooking green leafy veg-
etables, by cooking spinach.
The next meeting will be held
July 24 at 2 p.m.
