John M. Taylor
Dies In Detroit
A native of Creciiton, John M.
Taylor, 81, died in a Detroit
hospital June 19 following a
lengthy illness. The funeral serv-
ice was held Saturday in A.
H. Peters Funeral Hoine.. Grosse
Pointe Woods. '
Rev. Andrew Rauth was the
officiating clergyman,
Son t)f the late 11fr, and Mrs.
John Taylor, he farmed in the
Crediton district until 25 years
ago when he unwed to Detroit
and became a capenter. He'
was appointed foremati.of a con -
4 structien crew in Detroit.
Besides his, wife, he is sur_
Vived by one sister, Alice, De-
troit; and one brother, Frank,
Exeter.
Attending the funeral 'from

the former Inez Staley, two sons
and two daughters: John of Bia-
