Scouts' Outing
Scout Master Harold Whyte,
patrol leaders Terry Culbert and
Paul Conlin and ten other Scouts
attended the fourth annual Huron
District Camporee at the Clinton
Scout Camp over the weekend
where Terry Lawrence, Exeter,
was camp chief of the 98 Scouts
and leaders.
In spite of the weatherman's

The Ladies' Guild of St. Pat-
rick's church met at the home
of Mrs. Earl Atkinson on Thurs-
day evening.

The Ladies' Auxiliary to the
Canadian Legion 540, held its May
meeting in the new Legion Hall,

the Hobby and Trade Fair it was
decided to postpone the next bake

Former Lucanite In Fire,
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Tubb (nee
Beth Hodgins), who were married
in Lucan last October nearly lost
their home 'last Tuesday in
