The Women's Association of
the United Church held their re-
gular meeting on Thursday af.
•ternoon with Mrs, Willis Gill
in the chair, and opening the
meeting with worship service,
the topic of which was contain-

Mrs. E. Keown, Mrs, Wm. Sweit-

TWS group of the United Church
on Saturday evening when Miss

Forse also rendered two solos in
the service on Sunday morn-

ning were Mr. and Mrs. Camp-

ded the meeting of Hensall Insti-
tute on Wednesday evening. Mrs,

tory of Canadian literature and
authors, Mrs. Wilma Desjardine
recited "The Cattle Thief." Mrs.
Alec Hamilton and Mrs. Willis
Gill gave readings, while Mrs.
Eddie Gill gave a demonstration
on making corsages

The Grand Bend Home and
School sponsored A Teen -Town
dance in the School on Friday,
when the basement was attrac-
tively decorated for the occasion,
by th senior pupils of the local
school, who with, their princi-
pal, Miss 1. Wyand arranged the
dance.
Prizes were presented for se-
veral special dances. i‘lr. and
Mrs. Peter Anderson and Miss
Wyand acted as chaperons, with
a good attendance of teenagers.
