Later it served as a parking lot for Tuckey Transport trucks, No Room Left ° In 1950, this lot was used for construction ° of .the present soft drink plant, leaving the trans- port company literally "out on. the road." By 1951, the firm had grown to the point where , it had . nine units in service, On January 1, 1952, the Tuckey business was incorporated as Tuckey Transport Ltd, and on Qc- tober 1 of the same year, the trucks and goodwill • of the Guenther 'transport Limited of Dashwood were purchased. —The ziam to was changed to Guenther Tuckey Transports LInm ited to recognize the long•es• tablished,. well operated trans port business of Mr. E. The 'traditional green and ivory .colours were already established by this time. The Imenare, left to right, B. W. Tuckey, Edward Ward, now manager of the London office; Eric Campbell, naw assistant to the president; Edgar Hunkin, who assisted, in the office for many years; and Ross Tuckey, son of the owner.
