Girl Guides of the Exeter Co,
and their .mothers :gathered at
the Legion Hall last Thursday

daughter banquet in honour of
Margaret Sanders who became
Exeter's fourth Gold Cord Guide,

ceived her Geld Cord, in order
that the Guide would have some-
thing extra special by which to
remember the .occasion.
On .behalf of all present, and
especially the Company and
leaders, Captain expressed con-
gratulations and best wishes to
Margaret, who has earned twen-
ty Badges plus her first class,
a record yet to be beaten in the
Exeter Co, Mrs. Luxton then
called upon area Commissioner
Mrs. Bruce Connell of Galt to
address those present.
Mrs. Connell spoke on the true
meaning of the Gold Cord saying,
that it is not the badges earned
