and later removed to Westmin-
ster Hospital, London,
Little Linda Mock who has
been 111 for the past few weeks
was taken to Sick Children'h
Hosplital Toronto on Friday for
treatment.

went an operation in St. Joseph's
Hospital; tendon, last week re-
turned home.

public health nurse for Huron
County, addressed the Kippen
Women's Institute at their meet-
ing at the home of Mrs. W. r,
Bell on Wednesday afternoon.
Miss Varr spoke on the Polio
serum and gave a general out-
line of the duties of a shealth
nurse and else told about the
pre -natal classes. The speaker
was introduced by Mrs, Ken Me -
Kay and thanked by Mrs. 3,
Drummond.
Mrs. Winston workman discus-
sed the motto "Grumbling spoils
more homes than -poor cookiiig."
Current events were reviewed by
Mrs, E. Whitehouse, Mrs, S.

the making of cream puffs width

knitted by the members. It will
be forwarded to the War Memo-
rial Children's Hospital, London,
