victory over RCAF' Aylmer that
took 21 minutes and 12 seconds
of overtime to decide.
Franklin teamed up with Moe
Gobeil and Charlie Parent to
fire the winning .sudden -death
goal at the 11:12 mark, in the
second overtime period
Parent, Gobeil "and Franklin
were the three big names in the
important Centralia win as at
least two of the ,trio figured in
each of the fqur goal scoring
plays.
Moe Gobiel collected three as-
sists from his blueline position
while Charlie Parent was credit-
ed with two on the Franklin
markers:
The teams battled to a- 0-0
draw in a clean first period of
hockey as Oliver of Aylmer was
the only man to pick up a pen-
ally for elbowing.

At the March meeting of Exe-
ter L.O.L., Leonard Harvey and
his son, Robert, were initiated
into membership. This was the
first time since the Lodge was,
organized that 'a father and son
were initiated the same night.
The past master's Jewell was
presented by past county master
J: Colwell to immediate past
master Oliver Jaques. l
A trophy awarded to the Lodge
for the largest increase hi mem-
bership in 1956 and received by
Douglas Triebner at the county
meeting in Goderich was placed
in the Lodge room.
