Bows To Beal Tech Club
South Huron District High
School senior girls basketball
team bowed out of WOSSA com-
petition Wednesday afternoon in
London when Beal Tech chalked
up a 56.34 victory.
By virtue of their win, Tech

South. Hum girls lost the
firstgame in their own gym by
only four points but over in Lon-
don the hotnesters took advan-
tage of the large floor to bounce
out a more decisive victory.
The local school turned in one
of its poorest performances this
year in London. Nothing seemed
to go .rIgbt for them.
Most of their trouble erupted
around the basket as erratic
shooting kept them off the scone -
sheet. Not one foul shot in 12
chances were sunk.
Nevertheless the local senior
team enjoyed one of their best
basketball seasons- to date. Up
until this :last series, they re-
mained undefeated in all league
play to capture the J. W. Weber
Perthex Conference Trophy. Be-
sides this a number of exhibi-
tion games were played with. the
surrounding schools and victor-
ies were recorded in each one.
