Family Reunion
On Friday evening Mrs. Am-
elia Desjardine entertained her
brothers and sisters and their
wives and husbands.
Two sisters, Mrs. Lily Vincent
of Winnipeg and Mrs. Lena Steb-
bins of Vancouver who have
been visiting relatives in the
district were among those pres-
ent. This was the first time they
have all met together in 37 years.
Five of the family of 10 are
over 70 years, of age.

RCAF'S r u g g e d para•rescue
course at Edmonton and Jasper.
The 20 week course is designed
to train airmen in the art .of
parachuting to the aid of crash',
ed or forced down airmen. In
addition, the course covers bush
lore, first aid, mountain and
glacier climbing, signalling and
rescue by helicopter. LAC Fripp
enlisted in the RCAF in the trade
of Safety Equipment Technician
in October 1952, and has since
served at Trenton, Ont., and Up-
lands, Ont,

The Mission. Circle held their
February meeting on Wednesday
evening at the home of Mrs.
Norman Jaques. Six members
were present. Alma Hern con-
ducted the devotional and the
,roll call was answered by the
paying of fees. The next meeting
will be en March 8 of the home
of Mary Dickey with Doris Brock
in charge of the program.
