Mrs, Sheridan Revington re-
ported on the meeting of Pres-
bytery W.A. and announced the
annual meeting to 'be held in
Colborne Street United Church
on April 30.
Mrs. ,Clarence Lewis., gave an
interesting taut on the history
of the W.A. since Union in 1925,
which history is to be sant to
Presbytery W.A. The roll. call
in Western Canada for 19 years,
He married Evelyn Maclean
in 1925 and came to Lucan in
1940,
- He was president of the Onta-
rio Creamery Association and
later director. Ue was an active
Masonic member in Winnipeg
and the Irving Lodge, Lucan, he
was a 'life member of the Grand
Chapter of Royal Arch of Mani-
toba,
He was a member pf the Med-
way- School Board since the
school opened and served a
term as chairman,
He was a faithful member of
the United Church- .and of the
Lucan Library Board. -Besides
his wife he is survived by .one
,son, Jack, of St, Catharines, one
daughter Joan, a student at
Qneen's University, Kingston,
also two brothers, Torn of De-
troit, and Donald of Glasgow,
two sisters Margaret and Mary
of the Isle of Islay, Scotland
and two grandchildren.

the Lucan Legion. members held
their first meeting in the new
Legion Hall last Monday"eve.

discussed and committee leaders

Hovey; sports, Mr, Louis Stap-

Owing to the illness of Mrs.
Edgar MeFalls, Mrs. Ivan Hearn
