Pineapple And Cream Cheese Salad (Mrs. Harry /CO le) 1 cup pineapple juice 1 envelope getlatin 1 no. 2 can crushed pineapple 5 tsps. lemon juice 3 Tbsps, sugar 'J 1 pkg. cream cheese 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind dash of salt 1 cup dates quartered 1/2 cup broken nutmeats Soften gelatin in ih cup pine- apple juice. Dissolve over hot water: Mix gelatin with remain- ing pineapple juice. Add crush- ed pineapple, lemon juice and sugar. Arrange a few pieces of dap and maraschino cherry halves in bottom of a quart mold. Cover with 1 cup of pineapple mixture. Chill until set. . Blend lemon rind, Salt and cream cheese and add to re- maining pineapple mixture with nuts and dates. 'Pour over top of chilled pineapple mixture and let stand in frig until set, Serve on crisp lettuce with Your fav- orite dressing. * * * * This molded' cabbage salad contains a combination of vege- tables which can be varied to suit your taste.
