Beeter, represented by BILL COCHRANE, BRUCE

Up to. that time; had six ganieseach on the road and

•,. wo weeks are being given to the clubs for semi-

March 23 is the deadline set to declare a winner from
this group. who will meet the champs of the LEAMING-

there are only four different Senior "B" leagues com-
peting for the Ontario laurels this year
One of the biggest things that raised the hopes of.
theMohawk executive, was. the voting by the other five
teams in favor of letting the Tribe pick up an extra
warrior for the balance of the season.
With permission granted from the clubs, a letter
was rnshed off to Toronto for HANLEY'S big -.O.K.
signature on it. B -U -T the rushed Mr. Hanley, who has
received piles and piles of letters from teams in our
own league for extra player help, must have decided
to take a quick vacation on the subject. So he stamped
• ell the.letters with the giant -sized NO.
•
So the Tribe will have to carry on with what they
have until next year, but it isn't as bad as it looks
because SARNIA and ST. THOMAS will have to do
the same.,
•
The WALLACEBURG HORNETS, who are riding -
high in first place, 'wanted a choice of teams to play
in the first• round of the playoffs, but it was voted out
by the other teams in a wise move. •
DICK PINCOMBE, hard-working executive mem-
ber of the STRATHROY ROCKETS', would like to have
a best -of -seven semi-final series with EXETER.
This type of series would sure produce plenty of
action for the paying customers. But first, we'll have
to wait and See if the old witch doctor is feeding us

One of the biggest upsets of
