ports local residents sent their
Christmas mail out earlier this
year and helped to relieve last-
minute congestion at the post
office.
The postmaster says the
amount of mail reached the
same record proportions of last
year but the staff found it easi-
er to handle because of the
earlier mailing and the enlarged
facilities at the post office.
