The spring Sessions of the Peace for
the County of Huron was opened on
Tuesday afternoon by His Honor
Judge Doyle. The docket was a light
one, there being three- civil and one
criminal case on tbe list, the crimin-
al case being one of indecent assault.t

clearest intellect. As soon as the
grand jury had chosen their foreman,
and been sworn in, Hie Honor address-
ed them on the case, and then informed

The cases heard were : The Goderich
Elevator vs. MeNairn et ai, an action
to recover fertile cost of the removal
of the debris left by defendant on the
property of the plaintiff company. At
the time of the fire at the elevator
McNairn purchased the burned wheat
and material. and the claim is for the
cost of the removel of the debris left
on the ground. The case lasted till
Wednesday afternoon, when his Hon-
er reserved judgment. Proudfoot,
