Dr. liolmertyas beard in defence of
his action, and at considerable length
detailed the purchase and use of the
hoist and the importance of such a
contrivance for unloading coal from
vessels. This meant a saving of about
$18,1:100 to users of coal, as compared
with the receiving of coal by rail, be-
sides the advantages •through the ex-
penditures of vessels here which
brought in cargoes.
Mr. Lee simply protested against
anyone being allowed to dbatruct the
harbor, as Dr. Holmes was doing.
Reeve McLean and Couns. Gold-
thorpe, Attunnidgs and Beckett all
thought permission should be given to
lase the hoist and tramwaY, some ar-
eangepaent, being made for their' re..

Ohairinan Reid strongly censured
De. Holmes for acting without in any;
way consulting the Council or town
Authorities, but the doctor couldn't see
that he had done anything improper,
and so the debate filled up a good hour,
Coons. Goldthorpe and Munnings
moved that the doctor be allowed to

FERROZONE.
Probably few cases are on record in
whieh an absolute cure has been made
of pernicious anaemia.
But Ferrozone did cure Miss Elaine
Stanhope -cured her absolutely, and
her mother. Mrs. 0, Staidlepe, of
'itre Isesay, Ont., Siti 8 thefollowing:
' y daughter compleined of feeling
tired. She was very pale and listless,
and kept losing strength till too weak
to attend echool. The doctors pre-
scribed different bottles of medicine.
P01 Elaine commenced to get worse
instead of better. She had anaemia
and we were afraid for a while that
she might never rally. We read of a
similar case, that of Miss Descent, of
Stirling. --Ont., being cured by Ferro -
zone, and this induced us to get it for
Elaine. It took three boxes of Ferro -
zone to make any decided improve-
ment, but when six boxes were used
my daugbter was beginning to be her
old self again. It didn't take much
longer to'roake a complete cure, and I
am convinced that there is no better
blood maker than Ferrozone. It has
made a new girl of Elaine. She has
gained ten /Mande in weight and looks
the picture of perfect health. She is
stronger and enjoys the best of spirits.
The credit of her recovery is entirely
due to rerrozone."
Every grown girl and young Woman
can make herself strong and healthy
with Ferrozone.
It makes blood, nerve and tissue-
makee it fast -makes it to stay.
Oomplexion soon becomes perfect,
nerves get new strength, tiredness
vanisbes-perfect health is the reward
for using Ferrozone. which is sold be
all druggists -price 50c. per box; don't
fail to try it.
