Toronto, May 7. -Though the deliver - tee were large at the Western Cattle Market to -day trade was good and prices were steady to firm. In exporters' cattle, perhaps, the greet - est depression took place. Quotations ranged from $4.85 to 415.10 per cwt. In the butchers" trade sales of some low of animals, which might either be classed as light exiYorters' or heavy but- chers' cattle, sold at $5 to $5.25 per cwt. For good heifers and steers 84.75 to $5 pee cwt was obluinable. Mealum to fair butchers' cattle sdld at $4 to $4.50; Cows brought 83.25 to 84.40, and com- mon stock 82.75 to 93.90 per cwt.
