An old inhabitant remarked on Wed=
nesday, "Our merchants never during

Colborne, the' maeriage ot their
daughter Jean, to Mr. Bennet Grey,
of Goderich. The ceretnony was per-
formed by the Rev. W. II. Graham,
in the presence of about 50 guests.
Tite Nide looked charming dressed in
white brocaded lustre. As the wed-
ding march wtos played by Miss Maud
Million, the bride entered on the arm
of her father, and stood beside the
groom uuder an arch of evergreens
and flowers. Little Miss Freda
Sinallacombe, of Hensall, cousin of the
bride, acted a.s flower girl, and looked
vei y sweet dressed in white silk ana
lace. After the nuptial knot was
tied and congratulations had -been
showered upon the happy couple, all
repaired to the dining roont, where a
splendid supper -with served. The
groont's present to the bride was a
fur ruff and to the flower girl a gold
ring. Mr. and Mrs. Grey will reside
in Goclerich.
