The write up is good, the illustrations well chosen, and the whole article a good advertisement for Goderieh. This will go on record as the liv e - !lest week of the summer in Goderich -the visit of the Essex Fusiliers, the Summer.Schborthe Bowling Tourna- ment and two civic holiday excursions from neighboring towns, make a week's attractions not often seen in 'a town this size. And there was room issue, Donald (" Danny ") Campbell died while awaiting committal to the House of Refuge at Clinton. An inquest was held the same evening hy•Coroner Dr. Holtnes, the Crown Attorney, Mr. Seeger, being present on behalf of the Crown. Win. Marl- ton, James Stewart, Dr. Taylor, J no. Griffin, John Knox and others were examined, and their evidence and the condition of deceased clearly proved that death was caused by heart trouble, and the verdict was death from Hatilcal CaUfles. The deceased, who had suffered from the disease for a long period, was incapacitated from hard work by a sunstroke some 25 years since, which practically paraly- ized his right side, withering his right men and making the right half of his person useless, The remains were in- terred in the Maitland cemetery on Friday afternoon from the residence of his aunt,, Mrs. Murray, Bruce St., Rev. Wm. Stoddart being the all& ti ng minister. which was to take place at St. Boni- face, opposite Winnipeg, on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 3,30 o'clock.
