FORDWICH—Five tables were in
play for the euchre party held in the
Orange Hall last Friday night.
High lady for the evening was Mrs.
Nellie Gamble, while Dave Dane, of
Toronto held high points for the men,
Mrs. AJveretta Wallace was the lucky
chair winner and Mrs, Frpida Darcey
won the door prize.
A draw was made for a satin
cushiori and Mrs. Dave Dane, of To
ronto became 'the owner of the' prize.
Lunch 'was served, The ladles are
planning to hold more parties' after
the holiday season.

Palmerston Hospital
FORDWICH—There passed away
suddenly in, Palmerston Hospital on
Tuesday, November 29th, at 1,30 a.m.,
John Barry King, 20-months-old son
of Mr. andf Mrs? Jack King, of Ford
wich, as a result of virus flu- He was
born at Palmfcr^ton, March 16th, 1954.
He is survived by his mother and1’
father, one brother, Randy, 4 years’
old, his ^rkndphrents, tMr. and Mrs.
Garnet- King, of Fordwich, and Mr.
Mark Bellamy, \of Arthur. X
Public funeral service was held on
Thursday, December 1st. from the
home of his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs, Garnet King, at 2 p.m. Rev.
Frank Russell officiated. Burial was
in Fordwich cemetery.

Held by C.G.I.T.
FORDWICH — Fordwich C.G.I.T.
held its ’initiation service last week
when the guests were members of the
Gorrie and Wroxeter C.G.LT. groups.
The meeting opened with a sing
song led by Elizabeth Patterson, after
which the leaders of each group led
in the service. Marilyn Cooper pre-,
sented 30 pins to tho newly-initiated
girls. Games and contests wore then
enjoyed, and a delicious lunch Was
