Mrs. Hugh Hutchison was able to return home on Friday from London Hospital. Mr. Justin Will is a patient in Wingham General Hospital following a heart attack on Thursday. Miss Minerva Kemp, Mekinock, North Dakota, is visiting her aunt, Miss Etta Burns. AB2 M. E. Johnstone Farrish, of H.M.C.S. Ontario, who is stationed at Esquimalt, B.C., is on a month’s leave at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Farrish. Mr. Ronald Short, Fergus, Miss Norma Donald, Guelph, visited on Sunday 'with Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Short. Week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Downey were L.A.C. and Mrs. Ed Steckley and Patricia; L.A.C. and Mrs. Stanley Tully and Master David Peden, all of Smithfield. Misses Tanis and Jacque­ line Pinnell of Waterloo, spent several days at the same home. Mrs. Chas. Lawrence and Rev. and Mrs. Harry Jennings, of Lucknow, at­ tended the C.N.E. and called on Mrs. Gerald May and Miss Edna Lawrence, Toronto on Saturday. A number from Gorrie attended services in the Anglican Church, Wroxeter, on Sunday. Rev. H. L. Parker, of Wingham, had charge of the service. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mclnnes and William, of Teeswater, visited on Sunday at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Mclnnes. Mr. ^nd Mrs. William Mclnnes and William, of Walkerton, spent Sunday also at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mclnnes. Mr. and Mrs. Addie Jacques, Cath­ arine, Karen and Janette, and Mrs. Albert Gallaher arrived on Saturday from Summerland, B.C., and are visit­ ing at Mr. and Mrs. Tom McClem- ent and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Hastie and Sandra, Toronto, spent the week-end at their summer home. Mr. and Mrs. Harry King are visit­ ing at Windsor and Cedar Beach. Miss Merna Nuhn spent last week at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nuhn, Palmerston. Mrs. Wm. Lynn spent Tuesday in Toronto, Anniversary services will bp held in Donnybrook United Church next Sun­ day, September 4th, at 11 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Rev. Mr. Watson, of Blyth, will be in charge of the service and Bev. Mr. Krug, of Bel­ grave, will be guest speaker in the evening. Miss Louise Jefferson visited last week with her friend, Miss Winnifred Munroe, of Wroxeter. Barry and Mary Helen Thompson, of Wingham, spent last week at the home of their grandaprents, Mr, and Mrs, Norman Thompson. Mr. and Mrs, Wm. Hardy artd fam­ ily were visitors in Toronto over the morning week-end and spent a day at the C.N.E. Miss Marilyn James, of Goderich, spent last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Naylor. Mr. and Mrs. H. Jefferson and Mary are visiting in the Toronto area this week and attending the C.N.E. Mr. and Mrs, Bert Thompson spent last week with friends at Wasaga Beach.
