Fleuschier and family, of Stratford, spent several days last week at the home of Mr, and Mrs, James Warrell. Mrs. Bertha Hutchison of Toronto, js visiting this week with Mr. and Mrs. Thos, Hutchison, LAC Wm. R. Campbell and Mrs. Campbell of London, spent a few days last week with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Crosby Sothern. Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Dugan, of Walton, were Sunday guests at the same home. Miss' Marlene Goodwin and Scott Keith, of Kitchener and Miss Phyllis Keith, of Toronto, spent the week­ end with Mr.- and Mrs. Alex Keith. Mr. Jack Bricker, of Kitchener, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore. Mrs. Bricker and child­ ren returned home with him after spending the past week here. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Hibberd family visited Sunday with Mr. Mrs. Oliver Jacques at Hensall -in the evening attended the annual Royal Black ^Knights of Ireland ser­ vice held in Woodham United Church. The sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs. James Vittie in the death of her sister Meg (Mrs. Harry Lyons) at Rockdale, England. Miss Thelma Orth, of Listowel, visited a few days last week with Mr, and Mrs. E, Hargrave. Mr. and Mrs. and family spent at Seaforth. Recent visitors Geo. Ashton were, Mr, and Mrs. Art Wells, of London, and Mr. and Mrs. Campbell Gibson and family, of Athens. They also attended the Gib­ son re-union in Gorge Park, Elora. Misses Verna and Lona Luce of London, visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Holt. Mr. and Mrs. Royden Devitt spent one day last week at Bayfield. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Demerling are spending several days at Tobermory and Manitoulin Island. AC1 Allan Witmer, of the American Airforce, Mrs. Witmer and little son, of Texas, are spending several days with Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Witmer. Mrs. Jack Keis and family, of Guelph, visited last week at the home of Mr? and Mrs. W. A. Gibson. Mr. C. L. Brown, of Hearst, is spending his vacation at his home here. Mips Ruth Gernhalder is enjoying an extended trip to Europe and at present is touring France, Mrs, Earl Ridley returned home on Sunday after spending the past week at/Port Elgin. Mrs. Anson Demerjing is spending the next month at .Huntsville where Mr. Demerling is building cottages, The sympathy of the community is extended to Mr. Mel Allan in the death of his father, Mr. Henry Allan, Mount Forest, and to Mr. .Jim Strong in the passing of his brother, Mr. Adam Strong, of Gorrie, Mr. and Mrs, Ted Denny and two daughters, of Erin, spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore, Miss Pearl McMinn, of Toronto, spent last week with her sister, Mrs. Garn King and Mr, King, Miss Dorothy Campbell, of Hamil­ ton, visited last week at the home of Iler parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Wildfang, ac­ companied by Miss Nancy Sothern, left Sunday for Toronto where Doug has secured a position in the Ballan- tyne Diesel shop. Mrs. Jos. Gallivan and son, Michael, of Detroit, are .visiting for two weeks at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ross Doig and Mr. Doig.
