All matters of business pertaining to the Wingham Hospital Association including the election of directors "and other officers and consideration of the by-laws of the hospital will be transacted. In order to cast a ballot in the elec­ tion of directors a person must be a member of the Association. One year memberships may be obtained for the sum of $1.00 from the Wingham Hos­ pital, the secretary, the treasurei* or a member of the board of directors. Everybody welcome. Election and Appointment of Directors The control and government of the Wingham Hospital shall be and is hereby vested in a Board of fourteen ,» (14) Directors, all of whom shall be appointed or elected in the manner following, that is to say: (a) One shall be appointed by the Corporation of the County of Huron for a term of one year. (b) One shall be appointed by the Corporation of the Town of Wingham for a term of one year. (c) One shall be appointed by the local Medical Association, such ap­ pointees to be a medical practitioner who is a member of the Association or becomes one forthwith and norm­ ally pratices in the area, such appoint­ ment to be for one year. (d) Four shall be selected by a ma­ jority vote of all members present or represented by proxy at an Annual Meeting. These four shall be persons who ar© resident of the Corporation of the Town of Wingham and. who are also members of the Association, or become one forthwith, for a term o*f one year. (e) One shall be elected by a ma­ jority vote of all members present or represented by proxy at an Annual Meeting. This director shall be a per­ son resident in either the Village of Lucknow, Township of Kinloss or Township of West Wawanosh and who is also a member of the Associa­ tion, or becomes one forthwith. Russell, prominet Wau­ bashene businessman, dieci on Janu­ ary 6th, in Pendtanguishene Hospital following a brief illness, She was in her 59th year. Born at Langside, Mrs. Russell was the daughter of the late James and Catherine MacGregor. She was educa­ ted at Wingham High School and was a graduate of Kincardine General Hospital. She served with the Victor- ' ian Order of Nurses in Toronto until her marriage in 1923. She was a member of the Presby­ terian Church and was active in the Women’s Institute, Woman’s Assoc­ iation, Red Cross, Girl Guides and Brownies. Surviving are her husband, two sons, William H., of Midland, and Clarence L„ of Waubashene; and seven sisters, Lexay (Mrs. Mac Ross), and Dolly (Mrs. Thos. Moore) of Whitechurch; Kate (Mrs. James Mof­ fatt) of Rivercourse, Alta.; Edith (Mrs, Jack Henderson) of Lucknow; Jean (Mrs. J. Brayford) of Toronto; Jessie (Mrs. Wm. Shaw) of New Tor­ onto; and Millie (Mrs. H. Anderson) of Kenmore, N. Y. A brother, Duncan Alexander MacGregor, of White­ church, died several years ago. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Ross A. Cumming, assisted by Rev. Donald F. Churcher. Interment was in Waubashene cemetery. The funeral was attended by relatives and friends from Wingham, Whitechurch, Lucknow, Toronto, Buffalo, Fonthill, Peterborough, Midland, Orillia, Barrie, Victoria Harbour, Coldwater and Penetang. —Mrs. Mabel Leggatt has returned home after spending two months, in.
