The sum of $71.00 was realized by the ladies and the Little Helpers table made the sum of $29.00. McGin- nes, underwent appendectomy opera­ tions last Monday at Listowel Hos­ pital, Mrs. Earl Ridley was also a patient in Listowel Hospital for three days, they all returned to their res­ pective homes on Saturday. POINT to Winnipeg-Jasper-Vancouver North Huron Women Teachers Federation A meeting of the Wingham unit of North Huron Women Teachers’ Fed­ eration was held in the Wingham Public School on Wednesday, Novem­ ber 25th. Miss Phyllis Johns was in charge of the meeting. The minutes of the last meeting, and the treas­ urer’s report were given by the sec­ retary-treasurer,’ Miss Frances Wal­ ker. Items from the president's bulle­ tin were read by Miss Norma Sher­ wood, Miss Mary MacMillan and Mrs. Irwin. A short discussion followed. The election of officers for 1954-55 then took place with the results as follows: President, Miss Olive Payne; 1st. vice-president, Mrs. Irwin; 2nd. vice-president, Mrs. Velma Shera; secretary-treasurer, Miss Frances Walker.
