D. J. MacRae Sharon Jane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Orvis; Susan Loraine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Wil liams; Bonnie Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence White; Janis Elaine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al- lister Green; Ruth Ellen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Currie; Bradley John, son of Mr., and Mrs. .Jack Lewis; John Duane, son of Mr. and. Mrs. John L. Currie; James Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Case-* more; Douglas Wayne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Casemore; John William, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Schipper. This being Armistice Sunday, Mr. MacRae spoke on the .subject, "Christ’s Way to Peace”. He mentioned the different wars of the century and what they had accomplished. War is’ brought about by selfishness and pride among the nations. Speaking of Korea, he drew a picture of what would happen if war came to our community. The Church has the great task of holding up the Cross of Christ among the nations as a symbol of peace/ The only alternative to war is to adopt a principle of love and make it work. That is Christ’s way of peace. Music was provided by the choir under the leadership of the new or ganist and choirmaster, Mr. Rothwell, who comes from Stratford.
