the warden of Huron County, W. J.
Dale, expressed appreciation to the
minister and his department.
A service of dedication was in
charge of Rev, Ostrom, of Clin
ton's Baptist Church, who is the
home's padre.
Toured by Visitors
A tour of the addition to the home
gave the" many visitors an’opportun
ity to See the auditorium where the
church services will be held, two sit
ting rooms, one for the men and one
for the women, a large lounge equip
ped with both radio and television, a
sewing room, a hobby room, a snack
bar, a barber shop, a beauty shop,
and the 30 bedrooms which accom
modate 65 beds.
The Provincial Government con
tributed 50 per cent of the cost of
the addition.
At.present renovation of the build
ing proper, which is close to 60 years
old, is under way.
