The meeting opened with a brief devotional period taken by Rev. J. L Coyle, of Wingham Baptist Church, and Rev, J. D, Lane of the Presbyterian Church, Clinton. The business of the afternoon in cluded the election of officers. Rev. H L. Parker, of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Wingham, was elected presi dent for a second term and Rev. D. They visited Rev. and Mrs. N. G. Robertson in Vancouver and Mr. Charles Walsh and family at Longbank, Sask. The church was attractively ated. with gladioli, fern and tions. Mrs. Haritage presided organ and accompanied the Miss Helen Schroeter, who sang “The Lord’s Prayer’’ before the ceremony and “Because” during the signing of the register. The bride was given in marriage by her father wearing a full-length gown of white nylon net over taffeta with lace panelling. The lace jacket had lily-point sleeves. Her finger-tip veil was of illusion net. She carried a white bible with two gardenias, ribbon streamers and small white roses. Aliss Olive Naylor, Toronto, was maid-of-honour and Miss Helen Ad ams, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. Aliss Naylor was gowned, in powder blue net over taffeta styled with a full skirt of three-quarter length. She wore a lace jacket with, three-quarter length sleeves and stand-up collar over a strapless bod ice. The junior bridesmaid’s gown was the same style but in yellow. The maid of honor carried yellow gladioli and rosebuds. The junior bridesmaid carried gladioli and rose buds in autumn shades. Following the ceremony a recep tion was lieldVat the C.N.R.
