On Thursday evening a large crowc|
gathered in the community hall in
honor of Mr. and Mrs, Bruce Wallace
nee (Shirley Elliott), newlyweds. Mr,
Lyle Murray read' the address and
they were presented with! a chrome
kitchen suite and several other gifts.
They both made suitable replies and
dancing was enjoyed to the music of
Weber’s Orchestra.
On Friday night another crowd fil
led the hall to honor Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Fischer (nee Betty Brears)
who were recently married.
They were presented with a purse
of money. They both made suitable
replies. The address was read by Sam
Newton. Music for dancing was sup
plied by Timm’s Orchestra.
The young couple will reside in
Kitchener.

in London, where the groom is a
member of the staff of the R.C.N.,
H.M.C.S. Prevost.
