The advertisements have been prepared with the pur; pose of letting people in Windham and the surrounding district know that Wingham is a good place in which to shop. For some time now the members of the Wingham Busi­ ness Association have been preparing for this event. They have gone through their stock, reducing prices on most items, so that together they may present to the shoppers of the district the widest choice of goods, at' a time when people are becoming increasingly value­ conscious. This is your chance to make your dollars stretch. By carefully reading the advertisers’ messages in this issue, you will be able to make up your shopping list, and plan a real shopping “spree” in Wingham knowing that you’ll be saving money all the way. For each dollar you spend you will receive a free ticket on the draw which is being run in connection with Dollar Days. The win­ ning tickets will be drawn at the Anniversary Ball of Wingham’s 75th Anniversary Celebration, on Monday evening, August 2nd. Three cash prizes of $25, $15 and $10 are offered.
