N., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Addison A, Pegg, London, became the bride of Horace Arthur Snell, B.A., M.D., on­ ly son of Rev. and Mrs, H. W. Snell, of Brantford, formerly of Wingham, In a lovely ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, Rev, E. A, Earch­ man officiated. The bride, given in marriage by her . father, wore a period gown of white marquisette with crushed girdle of while satin, bloused bodice and full skirt which flared into a slight train. The neckline was finished with a little ruffle and the long sleeves wore mod­ ified by leg o’ mutton style and tap­ ered to fiolnts over the hands. She carried a Colonial bouquet of butter­ fly roses, lilies and cornflowers, The bride’s two sisters, Miss Isobel Pegg and Miss Elizabeth Pegg, at­ tended. Dr. Robert Kemp, of Mamil- tou, was best man. A reception was held on the lawti of the home and Mrs, Pegg and Mrs. Snell assisted the bridal couple in re­ ceiving. W» H, Snell and Mrs. Snell of the Mohawk Institute, formerly of Wingham, was married to Mr. Walter Doncaster Smith, London, Ont., son of the late Mr, and Mrs. C. Smith of Midland. The father of the bride of­ ficiated, assisted by Ven. Archdeacon A, L, G. Clarke, rector of Grace Church, The bride wore a lovely gown of white stencilled organza with graceful train and bridal veil of tulle falling from a coronet. She carried a Colon­ ial bouquet of white roses and garden­ ias, She was attended by her sister, Miss Lloy Snell, gowned in yellow mousseline de sole, with floral hat of matching color and a bouquet! of pink, yellow and blue flowers. Mr. Andrew Walker, Toronto, was groomsman. Pollock - Eraser A wedding of interest to many friends was solemnized at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Howell Fraser, Con. 4, Huron, at high noon on Saturday, August 26th, when their elder daugh­ ter, Edna Fern, was united in mar­ riage to John Harold Pollock, son of Mr, and Mrs. Jas. D. Pollock, Huron. Rev, J, C, Nicholson, pastor of the Pine Fiver United Church, officiated, The bride, given In marriage by her father, entered the living-room, which was decorated with summer flowers and ferns. She wore a floor-length gown of white net over taffeta, fash­ ioned on Princess lines with lace bod­ ice and insertions on the matching bolero. Her veil was finger-tip length. She carried a bouquet of Butterfly roses, and baby’s breath. Miss Norva Bell, cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. She chose pink taffeta with ruching trim. Her en­ semble was completed by a velvet sash of Glory blue with matching san­ dals. She carried a bouquet of asters and maideti-haif fern. Mr* Ernest Thompson, cousin of the groom, as­ sisted as best man. Miss Hilda Reid played the wedding music and during the signing of the register Miss Mary MacDonald sang “I Promise You.” After the ceremony the guests pro­ ceeded to the dining-room where a sumptuous luncheon was served to thirty guests. .For travelling the bride wore a tail­ ored suit of grey monotone tweed and sorsagc of roses.
