RADER Mr. Siegfried Miller, of Wa» terloo, spent the weekend with I his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ru-j dolph Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Brown, of Kitchener, spent Sunday with Mr. Wm. Wem. Miss Ellen Gilbert, of Strat­ ford,, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Courtney Burmeis­ ter. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schenk And family spent Sunday yith Mr. Sam Miller and Delmar. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Kraft and family, of London, called on Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Koehler and family Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Arthur Willert Mrs. Arthur Willert, 67, passed away at her home Sunday fol­ lowing a recent stroke. She was the former Margaret Eagleson, who spent most of her life in Stephen Township. Before coming here eight years ago she lived in Exeter. She was a member of Zion Luth­ eran Church and an active mem­ ber of the Ladies’ Aid. ’ Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Alvin Walper (Jean), Dashwood; Mrs. Bd Wurm (Grace), Exeter; and Mrs. Stan Slezak (Rita), Winni­ peg; two brothers, William and James Eagleson, McGillivray Township, The body rested at the Hoff­ man funeral home until Tues­ day at noon, then at Zion Luth­ eran Church, where services were conducted by Rev. K. Zorn and interment made in Lutheran Bronson Line Cemetery. Bearers were Hugh, Lloyd, Earl and Bob Eagleson, Alvin and Milton Wil­ lert. Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson and children, of Thedford called on friends in town Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Walper and girls, of Ingersoll, were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Philip Fassold. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Eagleson . and family, of Southampton, were weekend visitors with Mrs. Hen­ ry Eagleson, Daniel Weber Stephen Farmer Daniel Weber, 7.7, who died at his home in Dashwood,, farmed mo.st of his life in Stephen Town­ ship. . As a young man he taught school at Centreville and Hay Township before farming. He retired three years ago. He was an active member of the Evan-’ gelical U.B. Church. He served on the board of stewards and was secretary-treasurer for sev­ eral years of the cemetery board. Ill health forced his re­ tirement, Keenly interested in early life many of his articles appeared on the editorial pages ©f the Exeter Times-Advocate. < Surviving besides his wife, the former Mabel Battler, of New Dundee, are three sons, Walter and Ralph, Stephen; Keith, Ux­ bridge; four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Schade (Gladys) Hay; Ruth, Red Deer, Alta.; Thelma, London; Mrs.,C. B. Carr (Edith), Arnprior, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Caldwell, Exeter. The body rested at the Hoff­ man funeral home until Monday at noon, then at the Evangelical U.B, Church, where services were conducted at 2 p.m. by Rev. W. F. Krotz, and interment made, in Dashwood Evangelical Cemetery, Bearers were Gordon Bender, Harold Weber, Lloyd Eagleson, Harold, Harry and Oliver Bea­ ver.
