Mrg. , Edward Finkbeiner is somewhat improved after being confined to her home for the past two weeks. Mr. Terry Wade of Lpndon spent the weekend at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. Wade. Johnny Wade, who spent the summer months in Stratford, has returned home ready for school. Mr. and Mrs, Crawford of Han­ over visited on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. H. Young. Howard Beaver of Hamilton spent the weekend with, his par­ ents Mr: and Mrs. H. Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Insley and Murray visited in Toronto during the weekend. Mr. Allen Lockhart and Mr. Roy Lockhart of Toronto visited on Sunday at the home of Mr. an’d Mrs. Alfred Smith. Roy and Joan Smith, who had spent some weeks in Toronto, returned with them, Mrs. Garnet Hill has returned from St. Joseph’s Hospital and is recuperating at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Morlock. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Webb have returned from a tour through the Western provinces. Mr. Robert Wolfe of Detroit visited during the weekend with his parents Mr. arid Mrs. Al­ bert Wolfe. Mr. Matthew Telfer of Bark­ hill, who died in St. Joseph’s Hospital, London on Sunday, was well and favourably known in this community, having served ’ as manager of the Crediton bank for many years.
