Honor Bride ' At Elimville Mrs. Hubert Heywood' held a trousseau tea on Wednesday evening in honour of her daugh ter, Miss • Florence Heywood, bride-elect of Saturday. L- Becker was chair lady for the May meeting pf the Dashwood W o m e n’s Institute. The roll call, “A verse or a way to show friendship,” was answer ed by 19 members. Eleanor Becker favoured with a piano solo.Mrs, Emil Becker, convener of the community activities ^group, gave an interesting de monstration on smocking. She had on display 14 smocked dresses she had made for her two daughters. Mrs, Harold Kellerman had as her motto, '‘Friendship is the cement that holds the world together.” The president, Mrs, A, Kuntz, presided for the business. She reported $30 raised by a travel ling basket. It was considered a worthy project. Plans were made to cater to a school board luncheon. The members, were urged to attend the district annual in Zurich. Mrs. A. Allemajad, Mrs. M. Tieman and Mrs. K. McCrae were appointed to be responsible for an extension course on sand wich making to be held next March. It was decided to accept an invitation- to attend a course on salads at Grand Bend.
