Peanut Oatmeal Strips
(Miss Doroithy Kuntz.)
% cup sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
44 tsp. cinnamon
44 tsp. allspice
44 cup rolled oats
4 Tbsp, 'seedless raisins
44 cup finely chopped peanuts
or walnuts
44 cup butter
44 cup peanut butter’
% cup brown sugar
44 cup milk.
Sift 'together flour, baking
.powder and spices. 'Combine oats,
raisins and nuts. Cream together
butter and peanut butter. IB lend
in sugar. Add flour and milk al
ternately stirring until well blen
ded. Add oat mixture and mix
well. Pour into well greased 8
inch square pan dined with greas
ed waxed paper, Bake in moder
ate 375° oven for 25 to 30 min
utes,
