Cottle Dies In Hospital Mrs, James Cottle of Usborne township passed away Jn 'South Huron Hospital on Friday, March 30 in her eightieth year, (She had been in ill health -for some tinae. i iShe was., born in Elimvllle, 'the former Maud Br hma co mb e, daughter of the late John Brima- eombe and Elizabeth Cooper, She, was United In marriage with James Cottle, January 1'5 19QI by Rev, W. J. Waddell.’* They •lived in >the farm now occupied by .'their son, (Ray, until moving to Thames iRoad, -21 years ago, She was a member of Thames Road church. She is survived by her hus­ band, two sons, Ray and Alvin of Usborne and two daughters, (Marie) Mrs. Herbert Harrison of Gt. Paul’s and 'Beta at home, also two grandchildren, Ross and Lois Cottle. The funeral service was con­ ducted at (the Hopper Hockey funeral home on Monday by Rev, W. J. Moores with interment in Exeter cemetery. The pall bearers were Wm. Hodgson, London; Harold Hodg­ son, Granton; iStamley Coward, (Roy Coward, Percy Duncan, James Hodge, all of Usborne. The flo,wer bearers were Ross Cottle, Lois 'Cottle, Maribn Oke, Wm. Sunrise, Youth Services Mark Crediton Easter Special Easter services wore- held in the two local churches on Sunday. A program given In the United Church Sunday School was convened by the Young Ladies* Glass, ’Patricia -Chambers presided and exercises and music­ al numbers were given by -the several classes, An inspiring message was de­ livered by Rev. A. Raps on at the church service and - Easter an-r thorns were Tendered by the choir. The church was decorated with Easter lilies and flowers. The sunrise service in 'the Evangelical Church was largely attended on Sunday -morning. Rev. -and Mrs. E. Wattam of Grand Bend were in attendance and assisted in the service.'Break­ fast was served. A profusion of flowers decorated the rostrum. Rev. G. Strome brought an, ap­ propriate Easter message at’ the morning service. The choir con­ tributed two anthems, Ladies’ Aid & W.S.W.S. Mrs. 'Freeman Morlock was in charge of the devotional period .when the Ladies' Aid and W,£.- W.S. -met in the church school ■room of 'the Evangelical pn Tuesday evening with attendance. An exercise and song, took place between Palm and Easter,’’ was given by four teenage Mrs. E- duet, Mrs. study book and was assisted by Mrs. Emery Gaiser, Mrs. Arthur Gaiser and Mrs. Emerson Wein. Mrs. Ross Krueger presided for the business portion.
