Mrs, Gambrill was born in England and came to Canada 46 years ago. She lived in Exeter and moved to London 21 years ago. She was a graduate of Lon­ don Royal Academy of Music and had the degrees of A.'L.G.M. and L.R.A.M. lHer husband predeceased her in 1939. Surviving are one son, Jack and a daughter, Violet, both of London; two brothers, in Eng­ land and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be con­ ducted on Thursday from the James E. Gordanier funeral home with Rev. F. E. Clysdate (min­ ister of Main St, When Mrs. Gam­ brill was organist) assisted by Rev. J. W. A. Stinson of Wesley United Church. An occasional chair was presented to the honoured couple, by the chivaree gang. The Class That Counts Dora Cowdrey was hostess for ths February meeting of “The Class That counts”. Mrs. Anderson presided for the worship service and Beatrice Roger read the scripture. The roll call was answered by “a cur­ rent news item”. Ethel Urquhart gave a short story. Dorothy Switzer and Christine Eveleigh conducted a “What’s my Line” .quiz with Sally Scott, Donna Paynter, Marion Urquhart and Laurel Francis as the panel and Verda Morrison, Greta Hum­ phreys, Leona Amos and Isobel Fletcher as contestants.. An auction sale of articles made from remmants was held. The meeting closed with a Valentine box lunch.
