Six Assists
It’s fortunate for Forest Lake
sides that Referee Clare Van Hor
ne thumbed Red Loader off for
a 10-minute misconduct penalty in
the first period of Tuesday night’s
contest. Otherwise the Redshirts
might have suffered a worse drub
bing than the 9-4 count they re
ceived.
While Loader was serving his
penalty—it was for arguing over
a call—Mohawks had a hard time
holding the Lakesides to a 2-2
draw. When he came back on the
ice, the Mohawk playing-coach
sparked his club to a 3-2 lead in
the second and a five-goal aval
anche in the third,
Although he didn’t score a sing
le goal all night, Loader topped
the Tribe pointgetters with six
assists^ That indicates how well
he was setting up plavs.
Both his linemates. Bill Oberle
and Ted Bogal, picked up five
points with three goals and two
assists each. Larry Heideman ad
ded two goals' and an assist to
his total.

Although Zurich Flyers have
slipped -to fifth place in the WO

Jim Hayter feels the club has
more strength than its record
shows.
‘We’ve ha-d trouble getting go

then lose to a poor oile. We just
haven’t hit our stride yet.”
“I think we’ll get over it be

a good battle against any of the
teams. Wd have a better club
than we had last year but we
just haven't been able to click.”
The Flyers have nine wins and
nine losses to their credit.
Coach Hayter has been -bother
