The Kitchener forward performed a hat trick and Bogal, who has been signed ■to replace Captain Harry Mc­ Ewan, scored ' two important goals. This was Wharnsby’s first (big night since he joined Mohawks. The Junior “B” player, who pla­ ced seventh in his league’s scor­ ing race last year, has been pick­ ing up points .consistently but hadn’t broken loose with any major scoring effort until this Wfeek. Wharnsby timed his splurge well. It came just after former Mohawk manager Charlie Aches- son made a standing Offer of $5.- O-Oi to any Mohawk who performs a hat trick during the game.
